INMIGRATION

OPTION No. 1

Application for visa under Personal Economic Solvency.

Requirements:

  1. Power of attorney issued to a firm or practising attorney.
  2. Certified check made out to the National Treasury for the amount of US$ 100.00, and same amount for each dependant.
  3. Certified check for the amount of US$ 500.00, in favour of the Ministry of Government as repatriation expenses, and same amount for each dependant.
  4. Certificate of health issued by a local physician, valid only for a period of three months, include one for each dependant.
  5. Certificate of marriage and of birth to accredit parentage with person that files request in regards to dependants.
  6. HIV test, only valid for a period of six month, include one for each dependant, done locally.
  7. Police record issued by the requesting party’s last domicile, authenticated by the Panamanian Consulate in the area, four each person of age.
  8. Certificate form a local Bank, stating that the interested party has a time deposit (CD) for a term of at least two years and with a minimum deposit of US$ 200,000.00; if interested party may proof that he has made an investment in a real estate property acquisition for an amount as the one mentioned, there would be no need to present the time deposit. The  200k amount may also be reached by proving a minimum real estate investment of at least 80k and the rest by way of a CD as expressed.
  9. Original passport (should have at least 6 months before expiration).

Four ID size photographs, four each person.

 

Interested party would be issued a provisional migration status for the term of one year, and would have to previously notify Migration (through our office) whenever travelling outside the country within that year. After this period of time, party would be entitled to request permanent migratory  status in Panama.

OPTION No. 2.

Application for visa as Retiree

  1. Power of attorney.
  2. Certificate of health issued by a local physician, valid only for a period of three months.
  3. HIV test, only valid for a period of six months.
  4. Police record issued by the requesting party’s last domicile, authenticated by the Panamanian Consulate in the area.
  5. Certificate  issued by the National Bank (Government Bank) stating that interested party is deriving a minimum income of at least US$ 750.00, on interests earned form a time deposit with a minimum term of five years.
  6. Original passport (should have at least 6 months before expiration).
  7.  Four ID size photographs.

 

Interested party would be issued a provisional three month ID and would then be given the permanent status as retiree, and would have to previously notify Migration (through our office) whenever travelling outside the country within that year.

OPTTION No. 3.

Application for visa as Pensioned Tourist

     1.    Power of attorney.
     2.    Certificate of health issued by a local physician, valid only for a period of three    months. 
     3.    HIV test, only valid for a period of six months.
     4.    Original passport (should have at least 6 months before expiration).
     5.    Four ID size photographs.
     6.    Document which certifies interested parties pensioned status, minimum US$ 500.00 monthly pension.
     7.    Police record issued by the requesting party’s last domicile, authenticated by the Panamanian Consulate in the area.

OPTION No. 4
 
Reforestation Visas 

  • Minimum investment of US 40,000.00 in an accredited reforestation project, applies for the micro-investor reforestation visa, with right to permanent resident status.
  • Minimum investment of US 80,000.00 in an accredited reforestation project, applies for the micro-investor reforestation visa, with right to permanent resident status, assuring less time in the procedure for acquisition of such status.
